Just a quick technical question. What method does Roon use for bit reduction, quantization, e.g. from 24 to 16 bits. Rounding, truncation etc.? I noticed Roon v1.2 just truncated with dither, is the method the same in 1.3?
I output at 16 bits as my R2R DAC is technically just 16 bits, although through USB can accept 24 bits.
