The "I didn't know that one" PIANO TRIO mega-thread

GREAT thread! I’m looking forward to listening to new-to-me music. Listening to Steve Kuhn Trio - Live at Birdland, suggested above… Excellent!

I am listening now to @CoralRad recommendation, Mesmerism by Tyshawn Sorrey trio. Another trio I have never heard of. Very much enjoying!

Taurey Butler new for me, but very good (from the Downbeat reviews section)
Available on Tidal. As a bonus I’m adding the DB review as well.

Not a trio, but who cares, it’s a great piano album - Brad Mehldau plays the Beatles

Soo… do you guys know of Joe Chambers? Percussion/vibraphone guy? well he has a new album out (Dance Kobina, worth checking out) and his piano player is Andres Vial, from Argentina.

LE: Vial is Canadian but with some Argentinian ancestry which you can definitely hear in some of his music
