I recently came across the Mountain Goats new album “Through This Fire Across From Peter Balkan” which is terrific by the way. I thought, let me try some more of this great band. When I tried to play “Jenny from Thebes” I got an error message saying This track is not available from Qobuz, then Too many failures. Stopping playback. I tried "Bleed Out’ and same thing. I tried “the Jordan Lake Sessions” and the same thing. I tried “Dark in Here” and the same thing. I tried “Getting Into Knives” and the same thing. I tried “The Jordan Lake Sessions: Volumes 3 and 4” and it plays just fine. I then went to the Qobuz app and “Jenny from Thebes” plays just fine. What’s going on Qobuz?
Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t notice that. Looks like some corruption in Qobuz’s database. The Mountain Goats are new to me and they’re quite good.

Record labels or copyright owners uploading their material anew to Qobuz, are not always careful with doing so correctly. The result is multiple versions or unavailable ghost albums. Found the issue to be even more pronounced with Tidal.
