The Roon dev team?

Really curious now, paid an annual fee - frequent instability, app crashes following updates - is it even tested? I have an open bug ticket for since April, no idea if it’ll be fixed, seriously doubting it - get responses like is it better since 2.7 release, is it better now. Aren’t you aware.

How many developers do you have? Do you have a QA team? Or is this a 2 man job, with Claude Code, that may explain a lot.

They have internal QA but they seriously can’t test any combination of systems, components and libraries out there in the wild. Thus an early access program exists for interested users - see:

PS: Roon Labs usually doesn’t read this part of their forum, consider posting in the Feedback section instead.

PPS: Reading doesn’t necessarily include replying though.

Your current support ticket is active and open.

After reading the content, I see that you have raised multiple issues in the same thread. This is discouraged since it makes it harder to track.

The Sonos synchronisation issue is marked [Ticket In], which means it is on the the development backlog.

The technical support team also notes that there is instability in your mesh network. This is the current line of enquiry.

Roon will respond after the weekend—I have provided a nudge.

Please note that soon does not monitor this category.

I fully understand that - I see the huge list of Roon tested devices - but iPhone? No base regression test there?

I don’t work for Roon Labs and I don’t know your previous issue(s). I’m sure there are early access tester with iPhones but everyone may use his/her device differently and so may not stumble about your specific issue(s).

If you intend to get in touch with Roon Labs please consider posting in Feedback instead.

Its good - I’ll wait a little longer and see.

I have my ticket still open, but what I’m experiencing today (along with others it seems), was really annoying this evening. Seriously not what I expected. I really don’t see myself dropping 800USD for a lifetime on this.

I get app’s crash. Usually a restart does the trick. But her, not even that works.

Looking forward to an official reply hopefully.
