What amp is that? I see that make/model a lot on this forum.

it’s an Icon Audio Stereo 40. mine’s an mkIII. It typically uses KT88s or EL34s, and has an option for Triode or Ultralinear modes.
I’m using KT77s, which to my ear provide the sweetness of EL34s, with the grunt of KT88s. in Triode, they produce ~15wpc.

Very nice
My vinyl is a 70-30 mixture of original vinyl from 79-84 and more modern repressings.
Both of those are modern 180g repressing which are much better quality than my original albums which I owned on cassette 
(It’s easy to tell the difference just by looking at the covers 
)
Which is the best way to get rid of the commentary!
