Describe the issue

When you plug in a Thunderbolt 4 external Drive, will I see it as Internal Storage or as another location

Describe your network setup

Intel Nuc NUC13ANHI7
Crucial 32 GB Ram
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB
OWC 1M2 w/ 8 TB
WD_BLACK 8TB SN850X NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive
Current Roon OS and Server software

It will appear as a folder under \rock\Data\Storage or smb://rock/Data/Storage but that folder will not be ‘InternalStorage’ - that folder name is reserved for the SATA connected SSD inside your ROCK/NUCLEUS device if you have one.

Thanks. And just to confirm, because it is an external drive, I should be able to copy files to it that will show up when I plug it in? Or will I have to drag and drop or do a SMB move to fill it up?

iI think this case was closed prematurely and the response is incorrect.

Note that I already own two Nucleus + and another Rock besides this, and have used Roon extensively since 2018. Also I have a NAS with a fairly large amount of data.
