[Ticket In] ARC B355 Stop playback and clear queue

With the latest builds of ARC sometimes the listening suddenly stops, the message “nothing to play” appears and the queue composed of the previously played tracks and the next ones, empties.

If you want to verify, you can consult the ARC logs between 14:35 and 14:50 CET today (the track playing was “Love > Hate”).

Successful even today (Timestamp around 11.45 CET). Deleted the queues of both devices on which I have installed ARC.
I don’t know if this is a coincidence, but it happened a few seconds after I closed (and not restarted) the Roon server.

Hi, @Daniele_Piancastelli, thank you for the report! I will take a look at your logs and share this info with our dev team. Hopefully, they will be able to figure out what the problem is.

Quick question, could you please share more data about the circumstances under which this problem occurred? I mean, which content were you playing, what was the output device? Was Roon Radio involved?

Thanks!

Ivan

I only play local content. In the first post I was listening through a USB DAC with the option USB Driver enabled (but in other cases I was listening with simple bluetooth earphones).
In all cases it was previously queued. The radio is always deactivated.

Thanks, @Daniele_Piancastelli, I created a ticket for our dev team to investigate

I’m not sure if this is the same issue. I’m on Build 100354. Lately my ARC Queue has disappeared a few times after closing and reopening the app. I listen exclusively to downloads. I queue up 5 albums and add albums to the queue as I listen to them. Typically I can just add to the queue for months at a time before something blows up but this has happened twice in the last few weeks.

Can I give another timestamp. Between 19.00 yesterday and 7.45 today CET.
When I reopened ARC this morning, the queue and playback history were empty. Last evening, when I left ARC, I was halfway through listening to an album
