I have a newly created playlist of called RPC (Romantic Piano Concertos) Albums that contains 653 tracks across 80+ albums, all local. Most all of them are CD quality FLAC files.
For reasons I don’t understand, ARC does not display it (I have tried ordering it by Title and by Modification Date) on my iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 18.0). It does display on the iPhone’s Roon app (v 1463).
Have I bumped up against a size limitation in ARC or is something else in play? All help appreciated.
Thank you for your post. We’re tracking an issue matching this exact symptom on the latest Early Access release build. There’s a fix pending release into the next upcoming Early Access build.
For housekeeping purposes, I’m going to move this thread there. Thanks!
I have had this exact issue through the last few builds. From time to time I transfer playlists from Spotify to Tidal, or will create playlists in the Tidal app. Those playlists and playlist changes will sync to both Roon desktop and iOS app without issues and little delay. However, it won’t sync to ARC. You can refresh it continuously and even after 3 days, it still hadn’t synced in.
What ended up working was that I had to open Roon and click on playlists page and just stay there for a while and do stuff. That somehow got ARC back in sync.
Just did another playlist transfer via TuneMyMusic from Amazon to Tidal. This time Roon itself didn’t auto update with the new playlists. It didn’t show up and populate in Roon sidebar by itself. I had to go to the Playlists page and spend some time there for it to update. The behaviour isn’t always consistent in terms of how/when it auto updates, and if doesn’t, what is needed to manually trigger it. Just my observation as of late
