If you think sample rates/bit depth/signal path and metadata is important, then I would assume you will be very disappointed with Spotify Connect.
I’m already using Spotify Connect. It does not show bit depth or sample rate in the album view but you can see it when the file is playing. But that is not the point anyway. I’m using Roon and I’m paying for it since library management is important to me. But if Roon does not show album format data with TIDAL this benefit is not existing since basic functions like focus on format data or sorting does not work.
I can stick to any service that has a good Connect Service instead and Spotify Connect works perfectly across all devices and end points.
