Tidal and mqa in Roon, remove mqa from frontsite

Is it possible to remove the MQA section from Tidal in Roon? Never supported MQA and now Tidal has been moving to flac for a while..

This would be a feature request not a support issue. That section is provided to Roon from Tidal so you are asking for Roon to pro-actively filter it out. I am moving this thread to the Feature Request section.

I don’t agree. As long as Tidal has MQA in its inventory and specifically provides a feed for it, then it is reasonable for Roon to pass that along to Roon customer’s who care about MQA.

Ok, so the front page in Roon is managed by Tidal, didn’t know that. As the app is showing better content, I thought Roon managed the one for Roon… I put in the support section as I didn’t know if this was possible to change or not.
The possibility to manage the front page of Tidal/Qoboz and others would have been super

AFAIK, The Tidal Section is based on the standard API as provided by Tidal (or Qobuz) and is not what I call the “front page” at all. The “Home” page does not have anything to do with the API from the streaming services.

To make sure we are talking apples to apples. If you are talking out this section (Qobuz for me as I dropped Tidal years ago and never looked back).

Then that is coming from the streaming companies API. Roon could filter stuff out, but, as I mentioned, why? when they have a lot of users who are still using Tidal because of the MQA content. It makes no sense for Roon to upset those customers, when it is something easily ignored by others.

we are talking about the same thing. I think it would be nice if we could decide what would show up, but as it is api, it would be difficult. I will close this thread
