Tidal content not synchronizing in Roon [Fix in Latest Update 1544]

Yeah, this is seemingly a widespread issue that isn’t fixed for weeks now. It’s not even being acknowledged at the top of the page like other major issues, the company seems to be underplaying a problem that makes Roon basically worthless for a significant part of the userbase.

At a company I work for (software engineer myself) something like this would be a major defect that is on the top-priority and needs to be hotfixed ASAP.

I’m not sure if this helps prioritizing this, but if there’s no fix for this soon I’m cancelling my subscription as I cannot justify paying for a service that is seemingly not dedicated to support my basic use-case of playing my Tidal favorites.

I am from the Netherlands and have been using Roon for years, I am an audiophile who loves good sound. Use Roon (Tidal) at home and Spotify on the go.
Roon is currently making a mess of things when it comes to Tidal users, playlists disappearing, no synchronization with Tidal, etc., etc. I think that if you charge money for a service, you enter into an obligation to your customer for delivery, if this does not happen properly, you should also be able to handle criticism that comes down on you! I hope that Roon will solve the problems with Tidal and that they will improve the quality (sound) ‘somewhere’ in the near future.

I have the same problem all my 7 year album from tidal 80 % from the album disappeared from tidal

Tidal library is out of sync. Library cleanup removed over a 1000 songs. Now Roon is missing a significant chunk of my Tidal library, does not match the library on the Tidal app, and is struggling with adding songs to the library. My database feels glitched.

Hi @LiquidSmote,

There is currently a known Tidal sync issue.

The general advice is to sit tight and don’t clean the library.

As you have cleaned your library I’d recommend restoring a recent Roon database backup that was taken before you cleaned your library.

Can't add new albums from Tidal. When I add a Tidal album to my library either through Tidal or through Roon, Roon says it's added, but then will show a pop up saying "This album has been deleted". However, that pop up doesn't appear everytime I attempt to add and album. I've tried reinstalling Roon. I've logged out and back in to Tidal. I've disabled and reenabled Tidal. Nothing seems to work. Please note, the albums stay added to my library in the Tidal app.

Who is messing it up Roon or Tidal?!
I’ve the same problems here, can’t add new tracks from Tidal to my library and sometimes the “this album has been deleted” message shows up. I also suspecting that I’ve lost some of my Tidal content in my library.

For three weeks now the link between my Roon library and my tidal account library has been broken. Only a fraction of the tracks in Tidal appear in my Roon library. On two occasions Roon Tech said the problem has been fixed, but not that I can see. After the most recent claim to have fixed the problem, the number of Tidal tracks in my Roon library increased but some 2000 are still missing. Library integration is the primary reason I subscribed to Roon. It is presently useless to me. My Roon server is on a Windows 11 desktop. Today I did another complete uninstall of both the Roon server and my tidal app and a fresh reinstall, but the problem remains. I foolishly bought a one year subscription to Roon and so my frustration grows with every passing day.

Hi there,
I’m still unable to add albums in Roon. Whenever I try, Roon says the album is deleted or not found. I’ve already reinstalled Roon and restored backups. Initially, everything seems fine, but as soon as I attempt to add a new album, the library reverts to its state from 106 days ago, and once again, I’m unable to add albums.
The Tidal library is up to date. Today, I restored my library at 12:43 CET and successfully added an album at 12:46 CET. However, after some navigation, Roon jumped back to how it was 106 days ago. The last album I added couldn’t be played, showing “tracks were unavailable.”
Could you please help me resolve this issue?

I can no longer add content to my library. When I try to add a track to the library, I get the message 'this album has been deleted.' The structure of the library is also compromised — it no longer shows tracks added in the past four years. I’ve already tried logging out and restarting the router.

Tidal Albums keep disappearing from Roon.
Just now I have lost in front of my eyes both Mumford & Sons albums in my Tidal library.
They were there when I started playing one of them on Roon Arc.
I paused play and resume less that 1 hour later, they were gone.
Completely unacceptable, no solution in sight 2 months after this thread was opened….
