Pretty much what it says on the tin. How do I link my tidal to roon with a facebook login? some one posted this last year and got zero response, pretty crap that considering the developers are on here
You’re right @DonkeyKong – this should be better documented and we actually discussed this internally last week.
Can you try logging in to TIDAL in Roon with your FB credentials? I believe that’s how TIDAL handles this but let me know if that doesn’t work and have another look. Thanks!
what is the facebook login we should use? I think this is the thing. The email you signed up with? the email you currently use? your face book name? or the name that comes after the face book url?
my tidal even though its facebook login shows my current email address not the one I signed up to face book with many many moons ago but my current facebook password doesn’t work
Ok, let me look into this @DonkeyKong – maybe try your original facebook email and password?
Just a note that the “@” syntax in Discourse sets a notification flag for a user; eg @DonkeyKong. So if anyone is trying to attract the attention of a dev then that syntax should do it. Sometimes posts get missed.
The mods try to get things noticed but we can also miss things. If you see a question that hasn’t had a response, send any mod a PM; we’ll try and get it noticed.
@andybob thanks for the heads up of flagging up, so you’re getting this. This issue has still not had a real resolution from the devs. I’m paying my monthly tidal and not able to use it.

Hey @DonkeyKong – sorry for the slow response. I just tried this with a TIDAL trial and it looks like you’ll actually need to set up a password.
Can you try this and let me know how it goes?:
- Go to https://listen.tidalhifi.com/
- Click Log In
- Click Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address associated with your Facebook or Twitter account and click Request new password.
