I am experiencing a serious issue with Roon. I should mention that I use Roon in conjunction with Tidal.
Up until a few months ago, whenever I added an album to my favorites on Tidal (for example, through the Tidal app on my iPhone), it would also appear among my albums in Roon. However, for the past few months, when I add an album on Tidal, it no longer gets added to Roon.
I have tried following the advice on your forum, which involved replacing a file within Roon. After doing so, some albums from Tidal appeared on Roon, but only a few. I have, of course, tried reinstalling and restarting Roon, as well as leaving it on for several hours, but nothing seems to change.
This situation is causing me significant inconvenience as I usually add albums to Tidal from my iPhone during the day and then listen to them at home through Roon. With this issue, Roon becomes completely useless for me.
I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this annoying problem. Thank you in advance.
I’ve done as you said, but nothing change.
It seems like it do not synchronise library with Tidal.
What can I do to solve?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks for the update! Since your running Roon Server on your windows machine, could you next try to temporarily disable the windows firewall and see if your issues persist?
Here’s more info on setting the correct exceptions for Roon within your system firewall:
disabling AVG Antivirus I solved the problem.
I tried to insert all Roon applications in the antivirus exceptions and re-enable it, but it didn’t work. Apparently AVG is not compatible with Roon
