Tidal hifi all plays at low quality

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Workstation with dual hex core processors, 48 gigs ram

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

quad nix connected via aggregation ro unbiquite switch, all ubiquiti networking with untangle as router

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Description Of Issue

I upgraded to tidal hifi however all tracks chosen, even masters are low quality aac 44

I restarted the server 1 single track played at high quality and that was a HAIM track after this every single track is a low quality signal path.

Want to understand is this roon or tidal.

PLease ignore, apparently I have to manually tell roon to play master :rolleyes:

You don’t need to tell Roon to play Masters (so long as Settings > Services > TIDAL > Streaming Quality is set to Master) but you need to select the correct version of the album.

Since you have upgraded any albums previously added to your library are not CD quality, so you’ll need to take a look at the Versions tab on the album page and add the hi-fi version.

Also, on the TIDAL page you can view Masters using the filter on the right hand side of the screen.
