It is not possible to log on to Tidal inside roon on my IPAD. I only get a message that user name or password are wrong. I know the user name and password are correct. I do not have problem logging in to Tidal direct. Only through Roon.
Hi @Petter_Johansen ---- Thank you for the report and sharing your feedback with us!
Moving forward, I would recommend the following (in this order):
-
Try power cycling the device hosting your Roon core as well as the iPad remote.
-
Try deleting your TIDAL cache.
If either of those methods do not yield a positive result:
- Would you mind going into the database on your Core and deleting this file:
Database/Registry/Core/tidal_account
If you are unable to locate the ‘tidal_account’ file:
- Confirm that your TIDAL account is still active, as suggested here.

Hi Eric,
Same here, tried everything you listed. I have no tidal_account file in my Core (QNAP NAS).
Tidal account is fine, because it works when I use my Mac as Roon Core.
Any other suggestions?
Hi @Alexandre_Siufy ----- Thank you for chiming in and sharing your experience with us.
Moving forward, may I kindly ask you to please follow the instructions found here and upload us a set of Roonserver logs.

Hi I’m having difficulty logging into my Tidal account from roon.
I’m running
RoonServer for QNAP (x64)
Installed RoonServer: 1.4 (build 294) stable
QPKG-Version: 2017-10-03
With 1.4 running on my phone, tablet and PC
I’ve tried :-
- Deleting the cache on my Nas
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the software on the QNAP
- Restarting the server multiple times.
No matter what I try when I attempt to login in I get bad username or password.
I can of course login directly to Tidal using the same credentials.
Many thanks,
Hi, @Dsg, sorry to hear about your problem. Would you mind also trying:
- With the application not running … would you mind going into the database on your Core and deleting this file:
Database/Registry/Core/tidal_account
If you are unable to locate the ‘tidal_account’ file:
- Confirm that your TIDAL account is still active, as suggested here.
Thanks!
