· Tidal through Roon is not updating new releases. The new Puscifer album and others are there on the Tidal app, but do not show up when i sign in though Roon. I have the current version of roon on my macbook pro as well
I’d like to explain how Tidal integrates with Roon to help clarify the situation.
Roon doesn’t just “mirror” Tidal’s directory in real-time. Instead, we maintain a rich database of metadata to provide the deep linking, credits, and reviews you see in the app. This means that when a new track is released on Tidal, there is a short ingestion period while our servers process the new data and map it to the Roon ecosystem.
While this usually happens automatically, you don’t always have to wait. If you have added the new release to your Tidal library but don’t see it in Roon yet, you can force a manual update:
Go to Settings → Services.
Click Edit next to Tidal.
Click Sync Library Now.
This often pulls in the new content immediately. If the track still doesn't appear, it generally means the metadata is still propagating and should arrive shortly.
@alex_h 's response from above sufficiently covers the TIDAL new releases process in Roon. If you have any follow-up questions, please let us know, but at this time we will go ahead and mark the thread for closure. Thanks!
