Description Of Issue
I’m using a Roon Nucleus+, and previously have never seen an issue with Tidal integration. I have rebooted, and power cycled the Nucleus, I am not able to log into tidal. The other day I just got the spinner thing. Today I get a error: “There was an unexpected error please check your account details (Missingmethod), “ when I try to login. The Tidal app will allow me to log in and play music on my pad, phone and

Have you restarted the whole network infrastructure too yet?

Moving this to #support:nucleus-support for you too and flagging @support

I have restarted the Orbi router, not the one from the cable company. I’ll try that

You are not using any firewalls or perhaps in china?

What roon build versions are you on, it should be B528

528 on the Nucleus. No firewalls

Hi @Huang,

This error only occurs when your Roon Remotes are out of date. Please ensure you are using build 528 on all the remotes you use to control the Nucleus.

I meant all versions (edited)…as Noris has noted too

A post was split to a new topic: Cannot login into Tidal

You were correct all of my remotes were not at the most current. I have updated them, logged in without seeing the error. I got a screen that had a checkmark and said I logged in successfully. I however, do not see any of my Tidal albums in Roon. I have Roon set to backup at midnight. Will I see the albums following that?
I see this on my browser:

But under Services I see:
(well if I can catch the Services screen between Roon crashes I’ll post it)

Oh did I mention Roon keeps crashing now.

Can you try to perform a manual sync under Roon Settings -> Services -> Edit button next to TIDAL -> Sync Library Now?

Roon Settings -> About -> Cogwheel next to Core/Remote name -> Automatically Install All Updates

auto updates doesn’t work for iOS devices in roon settings but you can set apps to be updated regularly in iOS settings. android im not sure about

Thanks Wizardofoz… I was trying to get the Tidal thing listening to an album… now Roon reports lost connection and searches every few minutes… ARRRRRRRR

Not sure I follow you - its reporting a lost connection to tidal or from the remote to the core?

It was reporting a lost connection to all my remotes every couple of minutes or so. It seems to have resolved its self when I did a quick check this morning. I am away from home until later in the day so I can not see if it is permanent.

In between core searches though Roon reported I connected my account, I saw the screen that indicated I did not. Thanks for your help on this

Hi @huang,

When this issue occurs is the Nucleus Web UI still accessible? If it re-occurs do let me know and we can take a closer look at what’s going on here.

Hi Noris,

What about the Tidal content, and ideas there?

Hi @huang

I am not sure what you are referring to, can you please be a bit more specific? After updating the remotes and logging into TIDAL again, what issue are you experiencing?

I seem to log into Tidal but I see:

If you scroll up you can see what I was seeing.

Hi @huang,

Can you try to reboot the Nucleus and try the login again? Does the same behavior occur from multiple Roon Remotes?

Yes, I see none of my Tidal content on any remote… I use 3, MacBook, iPad pro, and iPhone 8. Now that I’ve restarted, Roon has started the lost connection every couple of minutes thing again.

Before I restarted I went into settings > Services, logged into Tidal again, and saw the screens I posted above. I can see the Nucleus Nucleus Web UI is still accessible throughout the incessant lost connection behavior. This is driving me crazy!!!
