Description of Issue
Message received when trying to play Tidal track inside Roon:
This track is no currently available for Tidal. Too many failures. Stopping playback.
I can play Tidal tracks when signed directly into Tidal, though.
Core is My PC and it’s signed into Tidal.
Thanks so much for getting in touch to let us know about the trouble with TIDAL…
TIDAL in Roon would only work if your TIDAL account can play music as well. Would you be able to check the status of your subscription with TIDAL? Checking with them about what the blockage might be is the best next step.
We’ll be keeping an eye out to hear back from you
That was the issue. My Tidal account had lapsed into a free account and Roon won’t play music if not a paid subscription from what I learned. Thank you. Problem solved.
