Sorting in Tidal playlist by "Date added" criteria
Within Tidal playlists, the 'Date added' column information is not being retrieved – although this column exists in Roon, it's empty – so I can't sort a playlist based on this criteria. Personally, I use this sorting feature a lot in the original Tidal application because sometimes I'm interested in listening to a playlist starting with the oldest added tracks, but other times I want to listen to the newest added tracks, and in Roon, I can't do this. Thank you.
You’re absolutely right — the “Date Added” column is a useful feature when organizing playlists. In Roon, however, this column functions a bit differently compared to how it’s used in the TIDAL app.
In TIDAL, “Date Added” refers to when a track was added to the playlist itself. In Roon, this column reflects when the track was added to your Roon library. As a result, for TIDAL playlists, if a track hasn’t been added to your Roon library, the “Date Added” field will remain empty. As the TIDAL playlists is the remote playlists it is impossible to add those to the Roon libary.
