After I updated a Tidal playlist through Roon (Roon suggested an improvement for the playlist with a track quality improvement), the playlist do not appear anymore in the "Add to playlist" screen. I tried a search with no result. The playlist with the same name that I sync to Qobuz is the only one visible with that name.
I can still see it in the Playlist menu.
I tried to reboot both the client and the server, still not visible.
On any track (on album view or for the current playing track), select the menu (three vertical dots) and select “Add to playlist”.
Then a Popup appear displaying all the playlists. If I filter with “2025” I can’t see the Tidal playlist that I modified previously with Roon suggestion (as explained first).
The playlist is still visible if I go on the “My Playlists” page through the left vertical menu.
I restored the most recent backup before my playlist update with Roon and its name is again visible in Add to playlist and I can add tracks to it.
Though the damage is repaired, it would be interesting to try to reproduce it to identify a potential problem with you playlist update suggestions.
If it breaks playlists in Roon, it’s useless and will avoid to use this feature.
I’ve add a track with a lower quality (two tidal versions available) in my playlist (that was the improvement the last time), but I don’t know how to trigger the Playlist improver. Last time it appeared suddenly when I went on the playlist page.
For now nothing is happening.
Playlist improver should trigger when there is a better quality version that can replace the track, it is strange that it is not triggering on your end. I just tried on my end and I was able to trigger it by going to the specific lower resolution album and then adding a track to the playlist from there. If you try to do it from playlist → playlist, it seems like the higher resolution version gets transferred over.
