Description Of Issue
I have a premium subscription with Tidal which I thought was for CD quality but when playing shows as low quality
Any solution or am I wrong in thinking premium is CD quality

Premium is the lower bitrate quality like Spotify. Hifi is CD quality and includes MQA.

Who would think that premium meant crap quality

Another way of looking at it is this, if Roon hadn’t told you, would you have noticed? If not, save yourself a few bob. However now you know will it just niggle you till you feel you must be missing something and buy it anyway?

Except that on roon it has a purple dot for high quality which is all my music
Tidal has a yellow dot
Just glad I’m not a cat😄

Well if you need a dot to tell you whether it’s high quality or not I would stick to the cheaper one! Haha.
