Tidal recommended content not synchronizing in Roon [Ticket In]

I work in product development–hardware, no less–and I know exactly how hard it is to fix issues, never mind launch new products. It’s difficult, mostly thankless work and you mostly hope you can stay ahead of the tidal wave of customer expectations and deliver something on time that people don’t hate. But now I’m grumpy forum guy, and I absolutely HATE grumpy forum guy, because grumpy forum guy doesn’t know thing one about what’s going on behind the veil of the business. No, he comes to the forum swinging in every direction about things he doesn’t understand. And do you know why? Because no one has bothered to COMMUNICATE about what’s going on about some problem he’s having with his product. Grumpy forum guy didn’t wake up like this–he was born out of waiting for even a status update on what’s going on with an issue that’s been unresolved for over a year.

It’s me. I’m that guy now. I have a $500 software license that I mostly don’t use because one of the most essential features I rely on is broken in the categories I listen to most. Good times.

@Connor @noris …anyone…any updates or should we just give up on this?

Hi everyone,

The team has a ticket in to fully address sync failures with editorial/recommended content on the Tidal homepage in Roon.

We apologize for the lapse in communication and we will notify users here as this ticket moves through the pipeline.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi everyone,

We’ve identified the root cause for this issue and have a fix prepared for deployment.

As soon as this fix has been released to users for testing in Early Access or a main production track Roon update, we will share another update here.

Thank you again for your patience. We’ll have more information and an expected release timeline shortly.

Thank you for the recent updates. Makes the waiting more tolerable. Looking forward to seeing this fixed. I haven’t been able to use Roon in months.
