only local files play. Tidal login refuses. The core seems to fail checking for an update.

Try and reboot your Roon core and then see if you can log in to Tidal.

Hi @Ced_Rachmad,
Often times a reboot of the Core machine will resolve this type of issue. Can you give it a try and let us know if that helps?
