I’ve noticed that some new songs on Tidal are missing on the Roon app. Both are advanced singles from a Slow Pulp album due out in September. Tidal has them listed as the only available songs from the album, and they are not listed as standalone singles. These songs also do not show up on my Tidal playlists in Roon.
Do I have to wait until the September release date of the album to play those tracks on Roon, or will they be added to Tidal in Roon before then? Of course, I could just buy these songs off Bandcamp and add them to my media library before then, then they’ll definitely show up in Roon.
This is an unusual example, because all the other songs where this is the case also have the singles available standalone, and that means they’ll show up no problem.
I have screenshots of both the songs in Tidal and the songs unable to found via Tidal on Roon, if you'd like me to include those.

I don’t know if I explained this very well, so here’s a couple screenshots to explain what I’m seeing.
Here’s Slow Pulp’s album Melodie in Tidal. The whole thing doesn’t come out until September, but there are two advanced singles ready for streaming. They are currently not available as individual singles on Tidal like some other advance singles are. The album is the only listings for this two songs at the moment.
And here’s Slow Pulp in Tidal on Roon. The Melodie album is not present. Presumably it won’t show up until September. But I do should be able to stream those singles in Roon before then.
If I search for “Slow Pulp” “Better Man”, that song does not show up in the search bar.
I want to say that “Better Man” was available in Roon until today when the second single was released, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! We were able to review a fresh Roon Server diagnostic report, and can see clearly that Tidal’s catalog is not yet exposing these two tracks through the APIs Roon depends on.
We’re seeing the same thing on our end.
Typing the search for the missing single triggers Roon’s live Tidal search on every keystroke, this is a real-time call to Tidal, not a cached local index. From “slow pulp b” through the full query, every one of those Tidal search responses comes back at a flat 315 bytes, essentially an empty result wrapper. Tidal’s own search endpoint isn’t returning these tracks at all, even though Roon is asking it correctly.
Browsing the artist page tells the same story: Roon’s calls to Tidal’s artist-discography endpoints come back with a 369-byte and a 0-byte response respectively, meaning Tidal isn’t surfacing the upcoming album or its advance singles through the artist browse API either.
Tidal simply hasn’t propagated full catalog/track metadata for these two advance singles into the partner API Roon uses, even though they’re visible and playable in Tidal’s own app.
To answer to your actual question: there’s no setting or fix on your end, we’re just waiting on Tidal’s catalog to catch up, which may or may not happen before September. Buying the tracks on Bandcamp and adding them to your local library sidesteps the issue entirely, since that path never depends on Tidal’s catalog API. If you want to track whether Tidal fixes this before release, the fastest signal is retrying your same search periodically.
