TIDAL stopped importing albums

Since today Tidal has stopped importing albums in Roon. When I go on an artist page, I can only see previously imported albums, not new ones. I checked in the Tidal app, and I can see all albums. Nothing has changed in my setup since last connection, hence, it seems a problem with Roon. Can you please check on your end?

Have you rebooted your roon server?

Welcome to the forum.
I would try a reboot as the first step here, if this does not work, can you provide some more information:

  • What kind of Core do you have? Operating System/specs?
  • What are a few examples of problematic albums? Can you upload a screenshot?

I’ve tried to reboot several times. In one of the reboots, the albums appeared again and the problem seemed solved. I switched off the server and turned it on again, and I have the same issue.
I run Roon v. 1.7 build 505 on a PC running Windows Server 2012R2 and Audiophil optimizer. Never had any issues, until last Roon update. See screenshot for the problem: albums from Tidal are not uploaded. I can listen to previously saved albums and songs from Tidal, but I don’t see the unsaved one or the new albums. I suspect a bug in the new release of Roon. Can you please help?

Update: issue is solved after some time the server is on. It seems that there is a delay in loading albums.

How long of a delay would you say there is? This delay is present including for the “Failed to load albums” aspect as well?

I’m sorry, it is not. Now the albums appear, but when I click on one them, It returns a blank page and it says that The operation is not authorized. I have rebooted, the problem is still there.

The delay is approx 5’

tracks on the main Tidal page have disappeared. Very annoying.

Can I please request that you send me a copy of your Roon logs by using these instructions? The best way to get them over to me would be via Dropbox / Google Drive but if you don’t have either service, do let me know and I can provide alternate upload instructions.

I’ve uploaded the logs. I am experiencing new issues: randomly, some songs don’t play anymore and a message appears saying that I have no access to that song. If I insist on pressing “play”, then it finally plays. So this Roon release is not stable on my machine.

Thanks for uploading those logs. I took a look through them and I am seeing some signs indicating that this issue could be networking-related.

Can you please provide some more information regarding your network setup, including model/manufacturer of your networking gear and how the Core is connected (WiFi or Ethernet)?

How are your router’s DNS servers set up? Are you using the ISP-provided ones or Google/Cloudflare? If you are using the ISP-provided ones you may want to try Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS since I am noticing a few name resolution failures in logs.
