Tidal stopped working with Roon

Hi there

Tidal this week has just stopped working with Roon. It’s telling me I have bad username or password but they’re just fine. I’ve even reset them in Tidal.

Any “non techie” ideas?


Have you re booted your Roon core?

Hi there - yes rebooted a couple of times

That’s what fixed it for me a while ago… you may need to tag support.

Moving forward, may I kindly ask you to please try clearing your TIDAL cache using the instructions found below.:

  1. Please create a backup of your Roon database.
  2. Quit Roon (or RoonServer if applicable).
  3. Find and open your Roon (or RoonServer folder if applicable)
  4. Locate and delete only the cache folder (Roon/Cache)
  5. Restart Roon.

nope it’s just gone out

Ok we seem to be good again.

Also QNAP needed a firmware update which I have no idea would affect but re-did it all and it’s up and running again.
