Tidal streaming with ROON crackle - like a bad phone connection - after a few seconds on some albums (10-30 sec) and then stop altogether. Is it because my hardware is not sufficiently fast?
I compared the same album, streaming from Tidal through my Sooloos MC200, and there is no problem: it’s smooth until the end.
ROON server runs on my iMac 27"
Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz
16 GB or RAM
64 bit operating system
It runs on my Bootcamp partition
Windows 7 Pro service pack 1

Please describe your network configuration / topology, as well as providing insight into any networking hardware you may be implementing. I want to have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating and what tools are being used to make those connections possible.
Can you verify if you are noticing the same crackle/stopping behavior when using just the TIDAL application?
