Tips for connecting to HDD on Airport Extreme?

Hi,

I’m using external HDD via Airport extreme to my mac mini.
and It seems not supported by Roon for now.

If there is any tip for these type of connection,
Plz let me know,

Roon strongly advises you use SMB rather than AFP, your mac mini should support both.

Hi,

I am also trying to connect a usb HDD via an airport extreme to a Macbook Pro and am embarrassed to admit I don’t know how to do this with SMB.

In my current set up I can connect the usb HDD no problem but am having issues with the way Roon scans my music and recognises the library.

Any suggestions?
