I don’t understand your service. I’ve written replies to emails. I’ve given examples of the problems and descriptions.
Noris and Rebeka have contacted me. I’ve tried to provide info and get no where. I try to login for service and usually I see a spinning circle on my iPhone, iPad, or Windows 11 screen.
The problem is Titan running ROONserver will not scan my library taking over a week and never finished. Then what it does find is suddenly lost.
I take screenshots of ROON on my phone and they won’t paste into this document. Please explain why screenshots won’t copy and paste.
A friend owns a Titan and his loses the drives and libraries as well.
This is a Titan problem.
I have another instance of ROON server on a newly built Windows 11 pc.
It restored my backup and found all the music and added it to my library in a couple of hours.
Titan cannot accomplish this. ROON needs to fix this. I’ve not been able to use my Titan in this way since I purchased it. It will build a library with a drive connected directly to its USB ports.
I have no WiFi in my system. All computers are connected by Ethernet to the router and fiber modem.
I could hire a technician to troubleshoot the problem but why should I have to do this.
In my view if ROONlabs can’t fix this then I feel I’m owed a refund for my Titan. And I will gladly return it.
I can’t say I’m a fan of the service I’m entitled too.
I have other steps I could take to resolve this. But I’d really like just get the system up and running properly. My friend who also owns a Titan is monitoring this problem and if there is no resolution may ask for a refund also.
I really thought purchasing a Titan from ROON would solve any Backup and restore, database failures, and any other problems I’ve experienced. I want to enjoy music not mess with computers and such although after 10 plus years with the cranky things I’ve had plenty of experience.
