Among other options, I’m considering just tacking a Schiit vidar and a pair of ELAC UB-5’s onto my explorer 2 as an initial foray into components. Figuring I can then upgrade to a Schiit DAC down the road as needed. I’m looking at a single room (10x10ish) environment, using an i7/16gig desktop as core and control. Right now I’ve got the meridian driving my Senn HD598s or a pair of audioengine A2+, so, although simple, it’s an upgrade for me with a clear path for further upgrades. Thoughts?
