A function I am missing is a way to toggle the way My Library / Artists is displayed.
It is very nice to have artist pics displayed with the name but there might be more option to display artists in my opinion.
Basically I would like to see three modes:
Current display: Artist Name /Picture
A single list, Just name (no pic for a more compact and faster browsing)
A Grid list with Just name (no pic for a more compact and faster browsing)
Another addition would be to display the alphabet on the right hand scrollbar, instead of a blank scrollbar. So you can just click on “D” to faster get to “Deep Purple” etc.
The good thing with scrolling artists, instead of just typing in the search field is that you catch artists you have forgotten you had and otherwise miss.

Something similar is already implemented. On mobile devices, grab and hold the scrollbar, and the current letter is displayed. Fast scroll, and you can quickly locate another letter.
On the deskop client, simply press the key to jump to artists starting with the letter.
I didnt know about the scrollbar, but I still think points 1,2,3 are a good improvement on the user experience and an ability to customise the interface.
Moving from LMS to ROON has been a great experience, but I lack the ability to browse ARTISTS more easily/faster (without pics) would be great. Once you have chosen ARTIST, the display of coverart is really great way to find your wanted album. So ARTISTS listing in text, and then Pics of cover art would fantastic.
