Toko Plinius / RJ45 / Pi 5 / Ropieee kit

Hi,
I would like to run Qobuz threw Roon with my Plinius Toko streamer which only has a “RJ45 connector allowing connection to the Router or Computer Network Device”.
Apparently the following combination would work : Laptop / Raspberry Pi / Toko, all three connected via RJ45 to my Internet switch.
Is this Raspberry Pi 5 kit a good choice to install Ropiee and achieve this goal : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0CW9QW1LH/ref=ewc_pr_img_3?smid=A31P47HBL2V8V&psc=1
Thanks for your help,
best regards,

Hi @carstentoti
I would rather go for a passive cooled RPI5. And 4GB of RAM should be sufficient.
This is an option: https://www.amazon.fr/GeeekPi-Raspberry-4GB-Aluminium-Alimentatio/dp/B0CSBWBZ86/
If you really want the 8GB-version: https://www.amazon.fr/GeeekPi-Raspberry-8GB-Aluminium-Alimentatio/dp/B0CSBVH8K9
Kind regards, Frank.

Hi Frank
and thanks for the links
Meanwhile the PI5 kit has arrived, I assembled it, installed Ropieee, configured it threw the browser, created the UPNP bridge, my TOKO appears as “UPnP Renderer”, and even if I never come to the phase where the green status LED slowly pulses every 2 seconds and the LED is now stable red, apparently I did all what’s needed, because my Toko is actually streaming Qobuz threw Roon.
This being said, there is a little bit of latency when I launch a song, and when I want to stop it, it’s even more annoying, because Roon takes almost 5 seconds to react.
Is there something I can do about that?
And regarding the audio quality, with the basic settings, I don’t think it sounds better nor as good as when I’m listening to Qobuz through Audirvana. I took a look at the audio section, but I didn’t find many parameters to play with, except the FLAC compression I turned off.
Are there any tricks I can try to improve the audio quality?

Thanks in advance for your help,
C.T.
