The recent Qobuz “date added” issue and fix for titles replaced with new versions has the consequence not being able to identify which titles were replaced so that we can update them with any tags/edits we applied to the old versions (which Qobuz has automatically deleted as part of the fix).
Since I often use Tags to search for albums in my library, any titles Qobuz replaced in the background will no longer be included in my Tag search results.
At least the way it was before this mess, old unavailable titles were not automatically deleted, so it was relatively easy to add the new available version and manually apply the tags/edits from the old version.
We seriously need Roon to either automatically apply existing tags/edits to new versions when old versions are automatically replaced by streaming services, or at least provide to user with a tool to identify which titles were replaced and provide an easy method to transfer the tags/edits. Even an album/track Focus option to identify titles with/without user applied tags would help.
