Describe the issue

Trying to play tidal I get “this track is not available” and “too many failures: stopping playback” messages.

Describe your network setup

Router: Telstra supplied by isp, has been switched off and on, hardwired to Nucleus by Roon, hardwired to streamer Auralac G1, hardwired to preamp

Live radio is working, it’s ONLY TIDAL that doesn’t work. I moved to Tidal because they pay artists a little better…

Hi @Bruce_Carmichael,
Thanks for reaching out to us to ask about this issue. I think the next step here is to enable some diagnostics on your account so our technical staff can get some more insight into what’s going on here.

However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.

First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.

Hi Daniel
Between 8.15am and 9.04am Wednesday 4th December (Eastern Australian daylight time) I tried to play Tidal. The symptoms have changed to getting no error message but Tidal does not play. When I play live radio (Radio Paradise) it’s successful, however now I’m playing live radio then try and play Tidal and I get a short high pitched noise then nothing. To make live radio work after trying Tidal I have to switch the Auralic Streamer off then on to make live radio work. Very strange!! Any diagnostic help will be appreciated. Cheers Bruce

I have resolved this for the moment. I changed my Tidal password, logged out on Roon then logged in with new password and everything seems to be OK at this moment. Tidal has been a pain to use, not only through Roon …
Thanks for your time. Bruce
