Tracknumbers in playlist are not ok?

I see something strange happening in older playlists.
If I delete a track the numbers before the tracks do not change .
That happened as far as I know only with an older playlist.
When I delete a track in a new playlist the tracknumbers are ok.
I see nothing change when I click on Reset.
Do I miss something? Maybe stupid but I can not find it.
