Describe your network setup

Debian 12 Laptop with Roon server connected to home LAN network via wifi, Debian 12 Laptop Ethernet connected with Roon Bridge + Waydroid with Roon Remote app, Modem Nokia G 2425G A.

It occurred also at 11:28 (am local), and finally display a message “Too many failures”.

I have configured the default and allowed clocks here:

./home/xxxxx/.config/pipewire/pipewire.conf
and not here
./usr/share/pipewire/pipewire.conf

I suspect this is the problem.
My Class-Compiant USB 2.0 DAC can run 2 x 24 bit dual ADC per channel, with sampling rate from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz.

Hi @Philippe_Baret ,

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like you also have a Roon Ready zone associated with your account. Can you confirm if that zone also has issues or is it only for the Roon Bridge zones?

Hi @noris zone has no problem.

Hi @Philippe_Baret ,

Thanks for confirming. I activated diagnostics for your account and it looks like for some reason the zone is saying it can’t accept 44.1kHz/32-bit content. You can try to set the bitrate lower in the Device Setup tab (right-click zone in zone picker) or otherwise, this might be a driver issue. You can also try to connect the device to a different PC running Roon to see if perhaps the issue is Linux-specific. Here is the error I’m seeing according to the logging:

[SX-M2D2 USB Audio 2.0] [raatclient] SENT [14]{"request":"setup","format":{"sample_type":"pcm","sample_rate":44100,"bits_per_sample":32,"channels":2,"sample_subtype":"none"}}
[SX-M2D2 USB Audio 2.0] [raatclient] GOT [14] {"message":"RAAT__OUTPUT_PLUGIN_STATUS_FORMAT_NOT_SUPPORTED","status":"UnexpectedError"}

Hi @noris, the maximum bitrate has been changed in the advanced device setup, it seems to run smooth now (see SX-M2D2 DAC in use at the time 10h25 to 10h31 if needed).
