Tracks from Compilations Not Visible on Artist Pages [Investigating]

Thanks for continuing to look into it. (As a reminder, my issue is with the Overview page, not the Discography page.) Let me know if I can do anything else on this end to help with troubleshooting.

I tried again to reproduce this, but what is strange is that I am not able to see any Compilation subheadings for any artist under Overview. I wonder if this could be related to the files themselves since they are local tracks. Can you please send us a few example affected tracks so that we can re-test with the media? Thanks, @noris ! I have uploaded three “various artists” compilations for your examination. And just for clarification, I only see the Compilation subheading under Artist Overview when Tidal is disabled.

I think the compilation section is getting dropped for Recommended Albums, which only occurs when you have a service enabled.

Thanks for confirming! There should be a “Compilations in my library” section when connected to Qobuz/Tidal, but it’s not there.

I don’t think this is a new issue actually. I run with a service full-time and have learned to look under discography section for compilations. Took a bit to find a band in my library that I knew was in a number of compilations to highlight the issue.

Thanks for sending the files and for the confirmation @Rugby ! I was able to reproduce the behavior on my end as well. This looks like a bug, but just to be sure I am checking with the team in case I missed any nuances to this behavior. We’ll let you know once we hear back or we have any followup questions.

It would be a feature request for me to actually sho compilations under the artist overview as well

Another round of bug fixes rolled out today, but it doesn’t look like this was one of the bugs that got fixed. Just checking in to see if this is still on the developers’ radar. Thanks!
