It won’t play any tracks, just loads and skips playback. I have an amateur suspicion as to what the problem may be, but it could be completely off base.

I recently changed my subscription to nugs.net. I had a Sirius XM Platinum subscription, which gave me limited access to their catalogue and when I configured Roon for Nugs that was the level I was subscribed at. I switched to full subscriber status, which gives me access to the full library. Would that cause playback issues like I describe?

I logged out of Nugs in the Roon interface, and logged back in again, but no luck.

Hello @Tommy_Foster1,

Thanks for the update.

You were actually spot on with your suspicion - changing your subscription tier is likely the root cause of the playback issues.
When you upgraded from the Sirius XM bundle to a full subscription, Roon likely kept “stuck” with your old account permissions. This causes the skipping behavior because the system is trying to play tracks using your old access level.
To fix this, we need to refresh your account status and clear out the old data. Please follow these steps:

  1. Remove the Service: Go to Settings > Services, select nugs, and click Edit > Logout.
  2. Clear the Roon Cache: • Stop Roon / Roon Server. • Find and open your Roon database . • Navigate to RoonServer/Cache. • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere (like your desktop).
  3. Restart & Re-login: • Restart your Roon Server. • Go back to Settings > Services and log in to http://nugs.net again.
This should force Roon to recognize your new full subscription status.

Please, let us know if the tracks start playing correctly!

That did the trick! Thank you!
