@mike and @xxx, I am very happy to report that
- after scanning the entire contents of the New NAS and thus creating duplicates (sans my data/tags), once that scan was over, the next scan deleted each duplicate, and
even better
- the remaining set of tracks correctly associated my files with my preciously cultivated edits and tags!
Whew!
Truly I am impressed with Roon’s developers for their skill in accomplishing this, and their executives for calling for this essential feature!
