Trouble getting Roon to import .m3u playlist files generated by foobar2000

Hi there

I’m having trouble getting Roon to import .m3u playlist files generated by foobar2000

My music library is all on a single NAS share

In Settings->Storage I have the following

\6BAYNAS._smb._tcp.local\Music

( Music is the name of the shared folder on my QNAP NAS )

I have created an m3u file in \Music\Roon Playlists\ (on the QNAP) and have used the following formatting

/Volumes/Music/not-itunes/Various Artists - Soft Rock Forever/CD1/Extreme - Soft Rock Forever - 18 - More Than Words.flac
/Volumes/Music/not-itunes/Various Artists - Soft Rock Forever/CD1/Whitesnake - Soft Rock Forever - 08 - Here I Go Again.flac
/Volumes/Music/not-itunes/Various Artists - Soft Rock Forever/CD3/Nik Kershaw - Soft Rock Forever - 14 - The Riddle.flac

However Roon doesn’t import the playlist.

What am I doing wrong?

Tony

Try this format:

../not-itunes/Various Artists - Soft Rock Forever/CD1/Extreme - Soft Rock Forever - 18 - More Than Words.flac
../not-itunes/Various Artists - Soft Rock Forever/CD1/Whitesnake - Soft Rock Forever - 08 - Here I Go Again.flac
../not-itunes/Various Artists - Soft Rock Forever/CD3/Nik Kershaw - Soft Rock Forever - 14 - The Riddle.flac

thanks for that - unfortunately it hasn’t made any difference. I notice if I “browse” from All Folders > Music a few sub directories are missing including the “Roon Playlists” folder I’ve created.

Its working all of a sudden - no idea what changed - i’d forced a few scans but didn’t seem to make a difference but all of a sudden the playlist just showed up
Thankyou
