To start, may I kindly ask that you please provide a brief description of your current setup using this link as a guide. Make sure to describe your network configuration/topology, including any networking hardware currently in use, so we can have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating. Having a clearer picture of this will help me understand what type of networking issues may be occuring here.
I went to college and was only able to bridge my computer and dac together through an ethernet cable
Prior to this, were you able to connect the DAC to the same Core over the network?
Can you please confirm the following:
- Have you rebooted you Core machine, DAC, and network devices? Did you notice any change in behavior here, even temporarily?
- Are there any firewalls or antivirus software that could be preventing the Core machine from seeing the DAC over the network?
