Two DAC's, a MQA DAC and a non MQA DAC [Resolved - Network issue]

I’ve a problem with playing Roon with two DAC’s.

The Bluesound Node 2i is for reading MQA files. This Node is connected to a second (non MQA) DAC but with a nicer sound than as the Node 2i.

Playing this way with Tidal (without Roon) is no problem. So the Node is only to unfold the MQA and send it to the second DAC.

But, playing with Roon it won’t work such way.

I’m getting errors as “slow connection, unable to play”, and after a few seconds it stops.
I have a good working LAN connection.

I don’t know what goes wrong. It seems like a bug in Roon?

With kind regards from the Netherlands,

WiFi or Ethernet connected?

What DACs are they? Thanks

I am Lan connected with cat 6 cables.
The first dac is a bluesound node 2i for mqa files.
The second DAC is a Dutch brand. Van Medevoort Da 468.

Hi @Ron_van_Toor

So we can better assist you, please provide a brief description of your current setup using this link as a guide.

Make sure to describe your network configuration/topology, including any networking hardware currently in use, so we can have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating.

Do you have any local (non-Tidal) content? Does the same issue occur?

If you play to System Output of the Core or a remote does it work?

Hi Dylan,

I think I solved the problem. I guess I had a network connection problem.
I disconnected the cat 6 cable from Bluesound node and remove it from Roon and made it wireless.
Then I Installed it again in Roon and it works well, but in this case wireless.
So the Roon core on the Apple Macmini is internet wired en The Bluesound Node DAC streamer is wireless. It plays allright for me but I think I should it make internetwired again.

So, we can close this topic.
