Two/Four-legged acoustical treatments (post your critters!) [2024]

Mary-Grace died suddenly on Sunday. We were not expecting it and it was rather horrid. We have concentrated more on her 16.5 y old sister who we expect to lose any time b ut it didn’t occur ot either of MG would be first. To be honest last week I got a ‘feeling’ that something wasn’t right with MG but she was eating and behaving normally for her. Saturday night she left most of her dinner but still seemed otherwise alright. I awoke sunday to a dog that couldn’t stand and walk properly and with a tail covered in blood and feces and she was still houseclean. NO mess anywhere but on the news paper and outside. Took her str8 away to our vet and knew we wouldn’t bringing her home. She will come home in about a week in a nice wooden box and will site next to her father on the window sill.

I am so sorry for your loss here, they are not pets but family.
No words can help I know.
I’m sure she enjoyed her life thoroughly in your care and at least she is now at peace and not in pain or suffering.:pensive:

Thank you kindly. It was a shock, unexpected, and no isgn the night before apart from not eating all her dinner. Then in the morning, she was out of it, her eyes were glazed and she couldn’t walk. I knew she was leaving us. I am not one for doing everything possible to keep them alive. It’s selfish and harmful to the poor dog. She went very peacefully in my husband’s arms. Her father gave a deep sigh when he went but MG didn’t make aa sound. Dogs are very stoic and don’t always show you something is wrong until the last minute. I just worry I missed signs that she was seriously ill. I can’t see how.

I dont think that you need to worry, she appeared to you to be herself until the last night; rest easy snd enjoy the best memories.

I’m sorry to hear that. Such a loss always hits you hard. Specially if it is so sudden without prior signs.

Very sorry to hear - always difficult to lose a family member, more-so when sudden. I’m sure she had a wonderful life.

Nice acoustical treatment material inside a moving vehicle. (Saw it inside a parked pickup on the driver’s seat.)
