Well we have only officially been Arkansans for 11 days and the wife has found a stray cat to feed who showed up last night.
There won’t be any new photos of my little star, Gizmo.
Yesterday when my wife and I took him to the vet, we realized that we might not bring him back home due to his longstanding and ongoing breathing problem.
When we inheritated him 2 and half years ago from my father-in-law, Gizmo was 12 or 13, and has already started going blind.
@7NoteScale said so well about his Dexter (1 week ago, above), and it also applies to our Gizmo.
This was taken in late 2022, and is one my favorites.

My most sincere condolences.
It is heart rendering and depleting to let go.
Bless! Peace and love to you and your family.
So sorry for your loss. Keep the memories alive.
To revive this thread, which has been silent for too long…
A friend called Jack. He’s waiting for your pictures.
Here is Ella …
She has been weaned on eclectic music from soft evening jazz to loud rock… never complains and so far I don’t believe she lost any hearing ![]()

Not the best photo as wife took it from her phone through the window.
