Wilson relaxing after bringing my girlfriend lunch at her sale and having ice cream.
She put up a good fight and carried on for many years more than I expected her to but sadly Poppy crossed the Rainbow Bridge a short while ago.
It’s just a little darker in the house now.
I hope Cat Heaven is everything she deserves.
Last picture I took of her.
Really sorry to hear that Kevin.
How many cats left in the house now, and how many local cats have you attracted to visit you regularly?
Sorry to hear your sad news about Poppy. Just think on the good times, and pleasure, she gave you during her life with you.
Thank you Michael.
Still have 2 indoor, 1 outdoor and just 1 local stray we named Face as all we ever see is its face at the catflap looking in waiting for some food!
Thank you David
Hi Kevin,
Sorry to hear that Poppy died, it’s always sad when we lose a loved one.
I know she had the very best life possible under your care.
Thank you Carl.
Around 19 years as best as we can tell as she was a rescue so exact age was estimated by the shelter when we got her.
Not a bad run and hopefully she is running around enjoying the cat heaven experience.
My sincere condolences. ![]()
Thank you very much ![]()
As a former animal shelter manager, it warms my heart to see the kindness you show to our furry friends in need. ![]()
It appears that Cinders maybe has not realized the loss of Poppy yet.
Although Cinders is and always has been very aloof as far as the other cats are concerned.
My condolences Kevin, it’s always difficult to lose a friend and family member. What your family does to care for all of your four-footed friends is admirable.
Hi Kevin, I hope it’s not too late to offer sympathies. Having spent a lifetime with cats these sad times are usually very enduring. The memories of the affection our cats bring to us throughout their lives heals our grief. Happy times and memories lie ahead. ![]()
Sorry to hear that. Our pets are our family.
