Describe the issue

I cannot access my Roon Rock on an Intel NUC through my Windows 11 Explorer anymore. It asks for credentials like in this thread: https://community.roonlabs.com/t/unable-to-access-rock-folders-via-windows-11-explorer-due-to-credentials-issue-ref-r9msui/286634
However, the described solutions are not working. SMB1 is enabled, Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always) is disabled, insecure guest logons are enabled. With this, I do not know what else to do.

Describe your network setup

Pyur Kabelbox as router at the moment, everything connected directly to the router via cables. I can access the server via the IP and get to the ROCK configuration page. Roon itself works fine. I just cannot access the data via the Explorer

Have you tried entering guest for both the username and password in the Credentials screen?

Did you reboot the computer after enabling insecure guest logons? And doublecheck that the insecure guest logon enablement was done correctly.

(By the way SMB1 is not necessary, Roon OS has supported SMB2 for a long time now. Only insecure guest logons should be necessary, after Microsoft’s 24H2 update for Windows 11)

Surely this should not be the solution, but, alas, it is. I do feel rather dumb now, but I will just put it down to it being Sunday morning, wehre my brain is just naturally in hibernation. Thank you so much!
