Describe your network setup

Wyred-4-Sound music server;

Hi @Russell_Reising,

You stated that Roon Server is on macOS, the screenshot posted is looking for a RoonOS (ie a Nucleus or ROCK) so that screen will not find your Mac, and can be disregarded.

I suspect the issue may be down to this …

macOS Sequoia (version 15), has tighter (and more obfuscated) network security settings than preceding MacOS versions.

Can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network, and make sure Roon and Roon Server are allowed.

If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

Hello @Russell_Reising ,

Thanks for reaching out. I second @Carl ‘s suggestion, it looks like your Roon Server is showing as recently active in our diagnostics system, so I believe the issue is with the Mac security setting. Please let us know if modifying that setting helps!
