· I can't access to my Roon server (Antipodes DS) despite it is on the same network, not stopped by the firewall and I can open it via Myantipodes. I have restarted every device (Box, ANTIPODES, Tablet and computer) Downloaded anew the Roon app
I have downloaded the latest version of the app, restarted every device (Box, Antipodes, Tablet) and I have a life suscription to Roon.
Please could you resolve this trouble ? Thanks in advance.
I’m sorry to hear that the standard dashboard check didn’t resolve the connection.
Unfortunately, if the internal software updates on your Antipodes DS aren’t appearing or aren’t fixing the issue, it confirms that the underlying operating system of the device is likely too far behind to support the current Roon 2.65+ architecture.
Why this is happening
Roon recently updated its security and system requirements. To maintain a connection, your Antipodes unit needs a specific firmware upgrade (usually to AMS 4.x or 5.x) that includes the modern libraries Roon now requires. Because this is a hardware-specific firmware issue, we at Roon Support do not have the tools to push those updates to your device.
The Next Step
You will need to contact Antipodes Audio Support directly.
They are fully aware of this transition and have been assisting owners of older units with manual firmware migrations or remote support to get their systems up to date. You can reach them here:
Once they have helped you update the underlying AMS software, your Roon Remote apps will be able to find the server immediately. Please keep us posted on what they tell you!
