Since the last update, I can no longer add Tidal playlist to my library. The option to do so is greyed out. The only way I can do it now is creating a copy which is less efficient. Does anyone know why the "add to library" is now greyed out?
Describe your network setup
Server is an Intel NUC running on Rock. Ethernet connection to router. Using Roon remote on a Mac connected to the same network.
Hi @Daz_Davies,
Usually the add to library button is grayed out of playlists when the tracks are already in your library. Can you please make sure that these tracks aren’t in your library already?
Thanks. So that means if ANY of the tracks are in my library it will be greyed out as this is the case when there are only a couple of tracks of the list in my library. This seems odd now that the “improve” feature allows matching tracks you have in your library.
Hi @Daniel I can do that, I just wondered why the quick link to “add to library” above it is greyed out. It would be less clicks if that was an option.
I spoke to the rest of the team about this. Its a bug that we have begun tracking recently. It’s triggered if the playlist contains any non-local tracks or if any of the tracks are already in the library.
Oh. Thanks @Daniel Is it a bug that will be fixed? It would be great if it was an option. Especially now we have the ability to check if we have any tracks in our own library when copying a playlist from a streaming service.
Our development team is currently investigating potential solutions, but this will take some time and we don’t have any updates to share yet. We’ll absolutely reach out when there is more information to share - even if the thread closes, we’ll open it back up. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
