Unable to boot with RPI 3 A+

Hi @George_Warren

Can you try this image: https://image.ropieee.io/ropieee_ose_pi3-2022.8.2-beta.20220817.525.bin

Thanks

@spockfish Sorry I was away at the beach this weekend. I will test now.

@spockfish No luck my friend:

Ok check.

I’ll create a new image this morning.
Pretty sure what’s going on…

Thanks Harry, what do you think is the issue why it is not loading the Kernel file dtb?

The bootloader identifies the device and tries to load the upstream dtb file.
However, due to Broadcom naming issues of the chipset(s), the downstream kernel (from the Raspberry Pi foundation) that RoPieee uses has different names.

RoPieee’s bootloader makes this translation and I missed the translation for the 3 A+.
And I made a mistake when I added the translation

Anyways, here’s a new attempt:

I’m pretty convinced (for whatever that’s worth) this will image will work.

Nice!

That’s it.
I’ll make sure this lands in the next stable release.

Thank you for testing this!

Thanks for fixing this issue!

Let me know if there is anything else you need.
